You sculpt your piece
Using your MEJ Studio Box, you hand-sculpt your pendant at home. The included booklet guides you with advice as you work through every step — rolling, texturing, shaping, and drying your piece, all with complete creative freedom.

You ship it back
Place your finished greenware in the included return plastic box with foam insert. Use the prepaid return label. Drop it at any USPS location — no extra cost.

Finished and returned to you
Madeline hand-polishes your piece to a professional finish. Carefully packaged and shipped back — within 3 weeks of receipt. What started as clay in your hands is now a finished piece of fine jewelry.

Professional kiln firing
Fired in a professional jewelry kiln at precisely the right temperature. The organic binder burns away. What remains is solid fine metal — your design, now permanent.

This is what sets MEJ apart. Before firing, Madeline personally examines every piece. Cracks repaired. Edges refined. Surface imperfections smoothed. Your piece is treated as if it's going into Madeline's own collection.
What is Metal Clay?
All of my jewelry is made from metal clay; a creative material made of fine metal particles held together with water and a natural binder. In its clay-like state, you can shape, carve, & texture it however you like. Once fired in a kiln, the binder burns away, the water evaporates, and the metal particles fuse together — transforming your piece into real metal jewelry.
