I created this piece of jewelry, because I wanted to make something that had value in both what it looks like. But more importantly, what it stood for. So as you put these earrings on, you have to pierce the hole in the hand using the post. My hope is that as the wearer does this action, that they would be reminded of the gospel of Jesus Christ. That it's our sins that nailed Him to the cross. And that God loved us so much that He came in the form of a man to die a death that He didn't deserve., so that by faith we can have the forgiveness of our sins and spend eternity with our amazing Creator.
