And those who belong to Christ have crucified with the flesh its passions and desires. When we believe in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, there is a call to change. We go from spiritual death to spiritual life. We receive a new heart and a new mind. And with this comes a new way of walking and talking, which are the fruits of the Spirit. We read in Matthew 7 about false prophets, knowing them by the fruits that they bear. But I think this could go for all of us. That the ways that we act should be aligned with the God that we serve. So I created this necklace to be a reminder that it is so important the way that we walk and the way that we talk and treat others. We are called to be lights to this world.
