By participating in this workshop, you acknowledge that sterling silver metal clay is a delicate medium that requires careful construction. While you will be the primary creator of your piece, I may gently refine or reinforce certain areas to give your design the best chance of success during firing. You understand that cracks or weak points may occur as a result of how the piece was originally formed, and while I will do my best to repair or preserve your work, I cannot guarantee perfection. These variations are part of the nature—and beauty—of handmade jewelry. Thank you for your understanding and trust in the process! Please also be aware that the jewelry-making process involves the use of sharp tools and sculpting instruments that can cause injury if not used with care. Additionally, while sterling silver metal clay is safe to handle, some skin types may experience sensitivity. Gloves will be available for those who prefer extra protection. By participating, you agree that Madeline Elizabeth Jewelry is not liable for any injury or allergic reaction that may occur during the workshop. Each participant will be given a personal set of tools to use during the workshop. Tools that go missing or are not returned at the end of the class will result in a replacement fee.
